The "Wildflower Dude", aka Jeff Smith, is a former wildlife biologist who is currently volunteering at The North Carolina Arboretum. His duties at the arboretum include leading interpretive trail walks, instructing Adult Education/Blue Ridge Naturalist classes (Field Botany 101, Woods n' Wildflowers) and collecting/inventorying plants for the Bent Creek Research Institute. Jeff is also an accomplished wildlife photographer.
